Sacrifice Festival

Sacrifice is a religious festival in Turkey. Muslims sacrifice some certain types of animals to God to show their respect. It has some sides that encourage people to develop socially,because people who have opportunity to pay for a animal to sacrifice share some part of sacrified animal with poor people.On the other hand you don't have to pay for animal, you can donate the money you pay for animal to social organisations that work for poors or homeless children.Like any other festivals it gathers families. You can see your cousins or other relatives who you haven't seen for long. You can also collect pocket money from the elder ones from your family:) But, I think there is a drawback of this festival..You feel as if you won't eat meat anymore , because you consume it very much during the sacrifice festival..
